A Sunday Drive in Virginia
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 7:57 am, it was cloudy and 37 degrees. We were leaving delivery near Manassas, Virginia and starting our trip to the shipper near Richmond, VA. BRS said “you can have 2 million miles on the road and still find yourself an adventure” as he drives a new road he hadn’t been on before.
Stopped at the Sheetz for our first cup of coffee of the day at 9:10 near Thornburg, VA. BRS “starting to get a little ugly out here” as we roll out at 9:19 am.
Stopped at a rest area, Ruther Glen, VA to check messages at 9:34 am.
Broadcast ends as we near the drop yard to pick up the preloaded trailer at 10:24 am in Richmond, VA.
Broadcast resumes at 11:03 am near Henrico, VA, 41 and cloudy with status changed to “on time to delivery” starting our trip to the receiver near Mount Crawford, VA.
Exit I-81 near Mount Crawford in snowy conditions to park at the Shell Liberty Truck stop at 1:19 pm EST. Delivery is tomorrow morning nearby.
Numbers: no numbers discussed We covered 126 miles rolling in Virginia.
