End of Day at the “Truck Parking Club” lot

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:20 am CST near Coopertown, Tennessee.  It was 31 and sunshine.  Steve advised we are trying a new experiment today with our bonding of Starlink and cellular service.  Comments are appreciated on when exactly and where issues occur.  Back onto I-24, continuing our trip to Union City, GA.  

I-24, dip into Georgia and crossed into EST at 12:53 near Trenton.

“Welcome back into Tennessee” near Chattanooga at 12:57 pm.

“Ok, welcome back to Georgia” at 1:14 pm near East Ridge on I-75.

Love’s stop near Calhoun, GA for refer fuel and coffee at 2:00 pm.  

Broadcast ends as we near the receiver in Union City, GA to complete our drop at 3:45 pm.  

Another trip safely completed, 3rd trip of the year at 4:36 pm.  No empty trailer available.  Bobtail Bob to our next shipper. 

Arrival at next shipper near Kennesaw, GA at 5:35 pm to check in and do a quick pick up and go.

Steve points out a train while we are working on exiting the shipper.  He honks Blue Comet’s horn at 5:47 pm.  Status changed to “on time to delivery”, starting our trip to Orlando, FL at 5:51 pm.

Steve has story time at 7:36 pm from a time long ago when his truck and trailer were towed from a parking lot.  It was a $750 lesson.  

Big Rig Steve officially done at 8:12 pm parked using our new Truck Parking Club reservation near Ellenwood, GA.  Steve plans to do a review of this place tomorrow.

Numbers:  428 miles to receiver, delivery is Tuesday (1/14).  We covered 399 miles rolling in and out of Tennessee and Georgia.

Clocks: 2:56 hours on 11 hr,  3:41 hours on 14 hr,  10:35 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
