Daily Summary for 1/11/2025

A Four State Day

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:15 am, it was 28 degrees and sunny at the Petro in East St Louis, Illinois. Steve works on a bonding test by parking under the canopy while he gets coffee, which turns out to be successful we end up waiting for another driver who was apparently getting restaurant food and was blocking our exit.  At 9:40 am we are finally out and on the road.

Stream drops at 11:25 am near Belle Prairie City, IL.  New stream starts near Mill Shoals, IL on I-64 at 11:39 am.

Welcome to Indiana at 12:04 pm near Griffin.

Love’s stop near Haubstadt, IN for coffee at 12:30 pm.  We then head south on US-41.

Welcome to Kentucky after crossing the Ohio River near Henderson at 1:06 pm.

Welcome to Tennessee at 2:40 pm near Clarksville.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 3:08 pm safely parked near Coopertown, TN.  It is 34 degrees and partly cloudy.

Numbers:  285 miles to receiver, will do that on a Sunday drive, we will drop when we arrive, pull out an empty and maybe even get a trailer washout before heading to the next shipper.  We covered 305 miles rolling out of Illinois, through Indiana and Kentucky and into Tennessee, a four state day.

Clocks: 5:26 hours on 11 hr,  7:11 hours on 14 hr,  21:01 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
