Big Rig Travels day began at 10:32 am. It is 78 degrees and clear at the Flying J near Effingham, IL. We are continuing our deadhead trip to the shipper near Edwardsville, IL.
Arrival at the shipper to wait in line to check in at 12:23 pm. At 1:43 pm our status changed to “on time to delivery” after completing the drop and hook of the preloaded trailer. We are starting our trip to Elkhorn, WI. We had 5:12 hrs left on our 70 hour clock at this time.
Love’s stop at 2:08 pm near Hamel, IL to top off all fuel tanks.
I-55 rest area stop near Waggoner, IL to check messages. Our unload appointment is now 8:00 am tomorrow.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s near Monroe Center, IL at 6:42 pm. Clocks are stopped with a fuel island view.
Numbers: 64 miles to receiver. We covered 355 miles plus a customer rolling within Illinois.
Clocks: 0:26 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 12:43 hours tomorrow morning. We are 321 gallons to Platinum.
Projected to leave between 6:00 am and 6:30 am tomorrow. We have our next trip which is a preload in Appleton, WI and a drop in Gary, IN at the yard, then head to HQ in Belvidere, IL for off time.
