Dyersburg, TN to Beaver Dam, OH
Big Rig Travels day began at 8:09 am CDT. It is 57 degrees and clear at the Love’s in Dyersberg, TN. We are continuing our trip to Lima, OH. Weigh mass check at the CAT scale, Steve advised we use the Weigh Me app at the scale. Fuel for the Blue Comet of 100 gallons which put us at 92 gallons to gold.
We stop on the road at 8:39 am to deal with the truck computer.
Welcome to Kentucky at 9:30 am near Fulton.
Love’s stop near Calvert City, KY at 10:22 am.
Road crew meet up stop near Grand Rivers, KY at the Good Stop at 10:50 am. Met with Craig’s parents.
Service plaza rest area stop near Beaver Dam, KY at 12:22 pm. 30 minute break completed and good food from Huck’s, breaded chicken sandwich. Leaving at 12:54 pm and back onto the Western Kentucky Parkway.
“You know this is pretty good. The frog’s behaving, Zelda’s behaving, the Road Crew’s behaving, truck is behaving. Everybody’s doing good, I’m proud of you all.”
Stop at the Marathon truck stop near Anna, OH at 7:11. “Paid parking, $30. Are you serious? No wonder, nobody’s parking here.” We continue on.
We exit I-75 at 7:39 pm near Lima, OH and pull back on to the on ramp where we discover that parking on the on ramp is illegal in Ohio. We continue back onto I-75. We are going beyond our destination.
Clock stopped at 7:58 pm at the Flying J near Beaver Dam, OH. Plenty of parking here.
Clocks: 1:24 hours on 11 hr, 2:49 hours on 14 hr, ? hours on 70 hr. Clocks continued to run, as he was going to wait until 11:00 pm to make the drive back to Lima, OH for delivery at midnight. He was going to take a 3 hour nap.
