Daily Summary for 3/31/2025

Lebanon, OH to Columbus, OH

Big Rig Travels Monday began at 12:11 pm EDT.  It was 46 degrees and overcast at the Flying J at Lebanon, OH.  BRS had riden out a storm overnight.  “Couple of things happened this morning…trip change.”  We are starting our trip to Columbus, Bobtail Bob to find an empty trailer.  Steve advised, every time it rains, we get warning issues in the Blue Comet’s computer system.  It will dry out and resolve itself.  We head out on I-71.

Love’s fuel stop at 12:51 pm near Jefferson, OH.  We are getting just enough fuel to get us into April.  We needed to get fuel authorization which caused us to circle.  BRS “good thing we do not have anything to do, but drive around in circles to get fuel.”  Back onto I-71 to Columbus at 1:38 pm.

Steve points out downtown Columbus at 2:11 pm.  

“Alright, time to let you guys go” at 2:27 pm as we neared the terminal in Columbus to get our empty trailer. 

Clocks: 19:08 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 9:40 hours tomorrow morning.
