Daily Summary for 1/21/2025

Short drive; helps gain back time

Big Rig Travels day began at 12:18 pm EST near Palmyra, Pennsylvania.  We were continuing the trip to delivery after trailer tire repair.  It was 14 degrees and mostly cloudy.  

Stopped at the Love’s at 12:22 pm for fuel, then rolled onto I-81 headed to receiver to complete a drop loaded trailer and hook to an empty trailer.  

BRS “alright we have arrived at delivery…finally” as the broadcast ends at 1:10 pm.

Next broadcast resumes at 2:06 pm, delivery is complete and hooked to an empty.  We now start our short trip to a nearby truck stop.

Arrival at the Flying J near Harrison, PA to find parking.  BRS notes, “aww, this place looks full already” at 2:29 pm.  Safe parking is found. Driving for the day is complete.  

A live watch party begins at 2:50 pm and ends at 7:33 pm.

Steve advises the next trip loads tomorrow afternoon near Carlisle, PA.  Delivery is in Portland, TN on Friday morning 1/22/25.

Numbers:  8 day summary of 2,061 miles. We covered 76 miles including tire shop rolling within Pennsylvania. 279 miles to platinum Love’s status for February.

Clocks: 8 hours on 11 hr,  7:03 hours on 14 hr,  7:51 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 2:43 hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
