Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:45 am EST from the Truck Parking Club lot near Ellenwood, GA. It was 39 and mostly cloudy. Steve said, “Ready to go?” at 9:50, continuing our trip to Orlando, FL. Back onto I-675.
Rolling onto I-75 at 10:00 am.
Love’s stop near Cordele, GA for fuel for the Blue Comet and coffee for Steve at 11:55 am.
Back onto I-75 at 12:40 pm.
“Alrighty, welcome to Florida” at 2:15 pm near Jennings.
“Sunshine state…where did the sun go, as I sure do not see it.”
Florida agricultural inspection station drive through at 2:39 pm near White Springs, FL.
Big Rig Steve officially done at 4:33 pm safely parked near Wildwood, FL, found free parking at the TA.
Numbers: 57 miles to receiver, near Orlando, a live unload at 7:00 am. We covered 375 miles rolling out of Georgia and into Florida. Last 8 days: 2,658 miles. 130 gallons to Gold status for February.
Clocks: 4:55 hours on 11 hr, 6:54 hours on 14 hr, 30:25 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 7:39 hours tomorrow morning.
Alarm clock is on, everyone be in the truck at 5:30 am.
