Getting out of Atlanta

Big Rig Steve officially done at 5:51 pm safely parked near Love’s in Madison, Georgia.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:58 am near Kennesaw, GA.  It is 66 degrees, overcast and damp.  Broadcast starts where we had hidden last night nearby the receiver from yesterday.

Heading to the Blue Beacon to get a trailer washout.  “Cuz this trailer is trashed.”

Arrival at the Petro at 9:43 am to get coffee, then next door to the Blue Beacon at 9:59 am.  BRS said, “NO LINE!”  Nobody wants to get a truck wash when it is raining.

Checked in and waiting for a door at the shipper at 1:16 pm. “We are very early. They will try to load us early if they can.”

Broadcast resumes at 2:58 pm while Steve is getting loaded.  Loaded 3 hours early at 3:19 pm. On time to delivery.

Love’s fuel island at 5:23 pm near Madison, Georgia, 60 gallons purchased.  115 gallons to Platinum status for October.

Numbers:  200 miles to receiver.  We covered 159 miles rolling within Georgia.

Clocks: 6:44 hours on 11 hr,  7:32 hours on 14 hr,  27:32 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
