Daily Summary for 12/25/2023 Merry Christmas!

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 14:41 PST safely parked at near Stanfield, Oregon, parked in auxiliary lot.

Title: US 97 and I-84

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:35 PST at the Pilot in Chemult, OR, snow was on the ground from overnight  BRS grabbed fresh coffee and said, “Let’s go”.

Near Bend, OR at 9:56 PST, road crew spotted by BRS waving with a sign.  BRS stops the Blue Comet in order to give them their “Christmas” medallions.

Stopped at the Love’s for coffee near Madras, OR at 11:05 PST.  BRS throws a snowball at Road Crew upon his return to the Blue Comet. 

Over 1000+ viewers today enjoying the drive up US 97 and along the Columbia River by I-84.

Numbers:  5 miles 8 km to receiver to drop trailer anytime tomorrow morning.  We covered  287 miles 461 km rolling within Oregon.  8 day summary: 2,609 miles 4198 km.

Clocks: 5:17 hours on 11 hr,  7:31 hours on 14 hr,  9:54hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 8:28 hours tomorrow morning.
