Title: Starting a trip home

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 12:36 at Tarboro, NC with a fresh 70 hour clock.  Preload turned into a live load and we got paid for sitting and waiting yesterday.

Stopped at the Flying J at Kenly, NC at 13:39 for fuel and coffee.

BRS witnessed an accident while leaving Kenly at 14:23 with a car and a Schneider big rig, which forced us to go the opposite direction and turn around at the next exit to resume our trip.

I-95 traffic backup near Selma, NC at 14:34 due to road construction.

We exited to US 70 at 14:48 near Morrisville, NC.

I-40 at 15:44,  law enforcement had a vehicle stopped in the traffic lane.  BRS said “when a cop asks you to get out of a vehicle in the middle of the road, that’s not good.”

Near Winston-Salem at 17:21, BRS pointed out a previous delivery site from many, many years ago.

Near Mount Airy, NC at 18:04 on I-74 the red light goes off for the mass/weigh station.  We need to go in. “Boo, red light, boo”.  No issues, roll on through.

Welcome to Virginia, near Lambsburg, VA at 18:09.  We take exit #1 for the Loves.  Up a big hill to find parking, BRS says “that’s my spot, you better not get it”.

Numbers: 675 miles 1086 km to the receiver. We covered 255 miles, 410 km including the live load.  Rolled out of North Carolina into Virginia.

Clocks: 5:52 hours on 11 hr,  4:51 hours on 14 hr,  63.:48 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Delivery is not until Thursday November 30 at 10:00 CST.  The plan is to broadcast Belvidere Holiday Parade and due to the slow freight, will take off time through the weekend.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
