Washington

Good Saturday morning!  The last few days we have been pretty busy.  We ran across the Cascade mountains and Snowqualmie Pass and it was clear and dry as we made our way to the delivery.  Then yesterday they were getting snow buildup and had chain restrictions for the mountains.  I had expected to just sit at the truckstop a day or so waiting for the weather to clear. To my surprise,  literally just 15 minutes before we arrived at the western edge of the mountains,  they lifted the chain requirements!  It actually was a great run through the Pass with no problems at all!  Lots of new snow piled high on the shoulders and hanging off the Fir trees.  We just made our delivery this morning in Clarkston,  Washington and will head on over to Richland to the next shipper.  This trip will be tricky since we have very few hours left for the week and don’t really gain many the next several days! We will do what we can and see what happens.  I have no idea why the progress bar says it is 0 miles to Wisconsin!  The trip map came out right, just the miles didn’t!  I tried several cities in Wisconsin but everything came back as zero! Go figure. Google figures all that out for me. This is a screen shot of me giving the Road Crew a short walk about tour of the Vantage Bridge on Interstate 90 yesterday!  Great wave!
