We had a great buffet and got 17 plates of excellent fried okra! (ok, ok, just kidding).
We are camped out at the Kenly 95 truckstop on Interstate 95 in North Carolina.
We have our next trip but I will keep trying to get it changed to something better.
Meanwhile, I was reading about a 24 year old trucker that drove through a 10 foot historic covered bridge in Pennsylvania! He just got his license 30 days ago, but FIRST set foot in a big truck just FIVE days ago! This trip was only his 4th trip ever….. Several questions come to mind – how did he get a CDL license 25 days before he ever went inside a truck? How could you not notice a ten foot bridge about to hit you in the forehead?
