Delayed

Well we got delayed due to the tire failure. My goal was to shutdown in Elgin, Illinois and have dinner with my buddy… I would have made it with a few minutes to spare but nope! I decided to go ahead and stop now. I’m tired, its raining, and I want to! We still had two hours left on our 14,  but driving those two more hours would put us into the Gary, Indiana and Chicago area and result in fighting for a truck stop that had parking before we went into a violation. Besides that, driving two more hours would only mean I could not start driving until two hours later in the morning! I’m starving! Let’s get some food! We will finish this trip tomorrow as soon as we can safely get there.
