Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 8:05 CST safely parked near Northlake, IL at a Shell truckstop. Watch party started.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 7:35 CDT near Melrose Park, IL following delivery. BRS reports that he parked on the street near the receiver (which he’s done before), but police ran everyone else off the street. BRS was able to stay, but with the stipulation that he stay in the front seat “like he was active” until his early morning appointment. BRS reports he got no sleep. Once driving, he advises he has “No time” and he is running on PC to get to the next truck stop. He has no time on clock to do new trip. He’s been using “yard moves” and personal conveyance.
He arrives in the rain at Melrose Park, IL. He reports a nap is in order, so cuts audio to allow for a nap to catch up on sleep. Even with a split, we can’t roll until 4 pm. Later in the stream he reports that he will do at least a full 10 hour break before starting another trip.
