Daily Summary for 9/13/2024

Friday the 13th…oh no!

Big Rig Steve officially done at 6:35 am safely parked back where we started the day in West Memphis, Arkansas.  “Wait now for the bosses to see what is next, so we’ll take a nap.”

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 3:01 am in a dark damp Love’s near West Memphis, Arkansas, 65 degrees. BRS “Hurricane has passed us by…lights on, let’s go…wiggle our way out of here…Freaky Friday.”

As we headed towards Tennessee, BRS advised we have a brand new 70 hour clock format on the BRT website.  Accurate as of this morning.

Arrival at receiver near Memphis at 3:47 am.  BRS advised they will not answer our check in call until 4:00 am.

Delivery complete at 5:43 am. “That wasn’t bad…pretty painless, other that getting out.”

Welcome back to Arkansas at 6:26 am, crossing the Mississippi River.

Called into the mass weigh station at 6:27 am, no issues.

Numbers:  We covered approximately 40 miles including delivery at a customer.

Clocks: No clocks.
