Daily Summary for 3/8/2025

Garden City, GA to Ashland, VA

Big Rig Travels Saturday began at 7:58 am EST.  It was 51 degrees and mostly cloudy.  We started at the Love’s near Garden City, GA.  Fresh coffee, quick jump on the Cat Scale, we are lighter than the bills say.  We are starting our trip to Pennsylvania.

“And, welcome to South Carolina” at 8:34 am near Hardeeville on I-95.  “The Purple Heart Memorial Freeway”

Love’s stop near Summerton, SC at 10:16 am for coffee.

“Alright, welcome to North Carolina” at 12:00 pm near Rowland.

Stop at the Love’s Durin, NC to top off all our fuel tanks.  “Wow, this is a crowed truck stop” 1:15 pm.  Coffee is acquired and also we completed our 30 minute break.

“Alright, welcome to Virginia” at 3:32 pm near Skippers.

Big Rig Steve officially done at the TA near Ashland, VA at 5:07 pm.

Numbers:  238 miles to receiver. 

Clocks:  1:15 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 7 hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
