Daily Summary for 3/4/2025

Pontoon Beach, IL to Crossville, TN

Big Rig Travels Tuesday began at 7:50 am CST at the Flying J near Pontoon Beach, IL. It was 53 degrees and cloudy.  We are continuing our trip to Crossville, TN.  Status is set to “on time to delivery.”

“Looking to be a windy day today.  Weigh station coming up” at 8:20 am near Shiloh, IL.  “yeahhh buddy, they’re closed.”

Welcome to Kentucky as we were crossing the Ohio River at 10:44 am near Paducah.  BigRig Steve story time occurring as we crossed state lines.

Love’s stop near Calvert City, KY at 11:12 am. 

“Alright, welcome to Tennessee” near Clarksville on I-24 at 12:36 pm.  

“Downtown Nashville” at 1:20 pm.  The usual slowdown of traffic was starting to occur.

Arrival at the receiver near Crossville, TN at 3:25 pm.  Ending up asking a yard dog where to go and ended up going completely around the building to find his right location.  He was backed into a dock door at 3:45 pm and recording ends.
