Waddy, KY to Pontoon Beach, IL

Big Rig Travels Monday began at 8:11 am EST near Waddy, KY at the Flying J.  It was 27 degrees and mostly sunny.  “Lights on for safety, let’s go.”  We are continuing our trip to Edwardsville, IL back on I-64 east.

“Alright there is beautiful downtown Louisville” at 8:54 am.

Crossing the Ohio River, welcome to Indiana at 9:00 am near New Albany.  The rough road begins.

Welcome to Central Time Zone, gained at hour, it is now 9:08 am near Dale, IN.

Welcome to Illinois at 9:59 am near Griffin.

Stopped at the rest area near Opdyke, IL at 10:42 am to send messages.

Stopped at the Love’s near New Baden, IL for refer fuel top off at 11:54 am.  Steve returns to the truck singing “onions with hot dogs” as we leave.  “Alright, so we are, as of right now, 206 gallons away from gold and its only the 3rd, pretty good.”

Recording ends on arrival at the shipper to check in near Edwardsville, IL at 12:49 pm.  Steve advised, “so we’re going to drop this trailer and pick up the preload.”

Later, at 2:46 pm after completing those tasks, a LIVE watch party started at the Flying J in Pontoon Beach, IL.
