Belvidere to Gary via Plymouth, WI

Big Rig Travels Saturday began at 11:01 am CST at HQ near Belvidere, Illinois.  It was 31 degrees and overcast.  We are continuing our trip to the shipper in Plymouth, WI.

Blue Comet goes under the famous Belvidere Oasis on I-90 toll road at 11:11 am.

Welcome to Wisconsin near Beloit at 11:35 am.

Love’s stop at 12:02 pm near Elkhorn, WI.  We wanted to get refer fuel, but had not received authorization so got coffee and as we rolled out of the truck stop, authorization finally came through.  Steve said he’d take his chances since we had a half a tank.

Welcome to Milwaukee at 12:53 pm.

Arrival at shipper at 1:58 pm to check in.  Recording ends at 2:06 pm.  

Recording resumes at 3:36 pm. Now we have 28 degrees at light snow as we are adjusting the tandems.  Status changed to “on time to delivery” heading to the receiver near Columbus, OH.

Cat scale, weight-mass check at at nearby BP at 3:44 pm.  We are legal.

Love’s near Oak Creek, WI at 4:54 pm for fuel.

Welcome to Indiana near Munster at 6:57 pm.

Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s in Gary, IN.  Recording ends while in the fuel island at 7:09 pm.  A parking spot search is still to come. Steve says “see you tomorrow.”

Numbers:  333 miles to receiver.  Live unload is 3:00 am on Monday.

Clocks: 4:36 hours on 11 hr,  4:55 hours on 14 hr,  47:06 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
