Daily Summary for 2/7/2025

Backroads of Illinois, Morris to HQ Belvidere

Big Rig Travels day began at 8:40 am at the TA near Morris, IL.  It was 21 and overcast.  He was waiting in the fuel island behind a truck taking its 30 minute break.  We start out with a baby trip to the receiver for delivery.  

Crossing the Fox River at 9:10 am near Yorkville, IL.

Arrival at receiver at 9:19 am to check in in Plano, IL.  Recording ends while is completing the drop and hook.

Recording resumes at 10:03 am.  We are starting our trip to the shipper near Plymouth, WI.

Quick stop at the Love’s near Hampshire, IL for coffee at 11:08 am.

Upon return to the truck Steve has a story about how a driver was holding up the cashier line, playing on his phone.

Welcome to Garden Prairie, IL at 11:46 am.

Arrival near Belvidere, IL at 11:58 am.  He will be staying at the house overnight and leave in the morning.

Numbers: Drove about 78 miles
