Farragut, TN to Haubstadt, IN

Big Rig Travels day began at 7:06 am EST, it was foggy and 34 degrees.  Starting at Farragut, Tennessee.  “Ready to go?  So today is Groundhog Day.”  Heading to the shipper near London, KY with the trailer pre-cooling.

Steve states that he always gets confused with I-640 and I-75 in Knoxville, TN, at 7:29 am “It’s just my first day of trucking, don’t know what to do.”

Near Clinton, TN, at 7:43 am, “don’t adjust your speakers, the driver really cannot sing.”

Welcome to Kentucky at 8:25 am near Williamsburg.

Love’s stop near Corbin, KY at 8:55 am for coffee.

Recording ends as we arrive at the shipper to check in at 9:22 am.  

A LIVE watch party begins during the live load at the shipper near London, KY at 9:36 am.  39 degrees and partly cloudy skies.  We are backed into a door, then loading completed, when the broadcast ends at 10:36 am.

Recording resumes at 11:00 am, status changed to “On time to delivery” starting our trip to Harrisonville, MO.

Welcome to downtown Louisville, KY at 1:33 pm, crossing the Ohio River at 1:38 pm and welcome to Indiana at 1:39 pm near New Albany. Of course the rough roads begin here.

Recording ends at 1:59 pm near Corydon, IN due to a phone charging issue.  Resumes at a rest area near Dale, IN at 2:51 pm.

Welcome to Central Time Zone, gain an hour, it’s now 1:56 pm.

Big Rig Steve safely parked at Love’s at 2:27 pm with a fuel island view.  A LIVE watch party begins at 2:42 pm, its 63 degrees and mostly sunny here in Haubstadt, IN.  During the watch party, there were stories about TK the truck cat and broadcast ended at 5:53 pm.

Numbers:  433 miles to receiver, with a live unload at delivery.  We covered 375 miles rolling out of Tennessee, through Kentucky and into Indiana.

Clocks: 4:07 hours on 11 hr,  4:39 hours on 14 hr,  5:50 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 8:58 hours tomorrow morning.
