Big Springs

Welcome to Big Springs, Nebraska! For the last hour and a half we have been just ahead of a big storm. Minutes after parking in here, the winds started and lightning everywhere! Glad we are parked for the night, but we will wait awhile before we go walk for food! :) Guess what we saw as we rolled into the Medicine Bow National Forest? SNOW! The temperature dropped down to 29 and it had very light snow flurries! Snow was sticking to the trees and signs but not the roadways…..but it won’t be long now I am afraid….. Excellent day today as we still managed to cover 597  miles! More to come over the next few days as we burn up all of our hours and making our way to New York! See ya in the morning!
