Big Rig Steve officially done at 16:52 EDT safely parked near Streetsboro, Ohio. BRS shares a full size spot with another bobtail.
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:53 CDT near Gary Indiana. We are continuing our trip to Streetsboro, Ohio. BRS starts broadcast with a spam caller before exclaiming, “Are we ready to go?” Allergies are sky high this morning. BRS advises not to panic about the trip map not being available on the BRT website as we roll back on to I-80 east.
At 9:17, near Portage, IN, BRS advises CVSA road check has been completed as we are stuck in Indiana toll booth preps. Didn’t work so we grabbed a ticket. Not sure how we pay toll with a ticket?
I-80 travel plaza stop for coffee at 9:50 CDT near Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
We crossed into EDT 10:14 CDT to 11:15 EDT near New Carlisle, IN.
Near South Bend, IN at 11:24 EDT stream stops. ??? restart It resumes at 11:26 EDT.
Another toll plaza, at 12:37 EDT, but this time the EZ pass worked.
At 12:41 EDT “Welcome to Ohio” near Edon, OH. BRS muses that the Ohio welcome sign used to say “Find it Here” or “Center of Everything”. We exit a couple of minutes later for a Love’s stop. Waiting a short while for fuel approval. Then picked up some coffee and a Blueberry Roller Grill (sausage wrapped in a pancake). Got 188 miles left to receiver.
Slowed down in traffic due to construction at 13:31 EDT near West Unity, OH.
“Alright, got our next trip” at 14:12 EDT before the stream stopped. New stream started a couple of minutes later near Perrysburg, OH.
We exited to a rest stop/travel plaza at 15:55 EDT near Broadview Heights, OH, audio muted then understand he was having some phone issues. It starts raining before leaving.
Arrived at the receiver at 16:28 EDT for drop and hook, however, no empty available “right at this second”. We are done for the day so “we’ll deal with tomorrow’s trip tomorrow.” We leave the receiver at 16:46 EDT Bobtail Bob.
Numbers: We covered 339 miles 546 km including rolling out of Indiana and into Ohio.
Clocks: 4:52 hours on 11 hr, 6:18 hours on 14 hr, 32:37 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
