Trucking the Weekend

Big Rig Travels broadcast weekend began Saturday 11/16/2024 at 8:10 am near Duncan, South Carolina at the TA Truck Stop.  It was 45 degrees and sunshine.  He was getting some coffee then would head out.

Welcome to North Carolina at 8:52 am near Fryon.  

Welcome to Tennessee at 10:18 am on I-26 near Flagpod.  

Steve pointed out flood damage at 10:36 am near Erwin, TN from the recent hurricane.  

Exit I-81 near Mosheim, TN to the Love’s for coffee and a fuel stop.  Stream ends at 11:56 am after fueling and going into coffee, phone overheats.  Stream resumes at 12:07 pm.

Entering a tunnel at 1:29 pm near Cumberland Gap.  Signal is lost, broadcast ends for the day, as he was near his ending point for the day.  No numbers or clocks were discussed. 

On Sunday 11/17/2024, stream resumes near Waddy, Kentucky at 8:53 am after his 10 hour overnight break.  It was 43 degrees and sunny.  Fresh coffee was acquired.  We continued our trip to Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Downtown Louisville, KY crossing the Ohio River at 9:42 am.  “OK, welcome to Indiana” near Jeffersonville a minute later.

We stop at the Love’s near Whiteland, IN at 11:13 am.

Welcome to Illinois near Lansing, IN at 1:19 pm CDT

Big Rig Steve officially done at safely parked near Bolingbrook, IL at 2:08 pm at $15 paid parking at the Greater Chicago Truck Plaza.

Sunday Numbers:  19 miles to receiver for a 8:00 am live unload.  We covered 358 miles rolling out of Kentucky, through Indiana and Illinois.  Yesterday we drove out of South Carolina, through North Carolina and Tennessee then stopped in Kentucky.

Sunday Clocks: 5:06 hours on 11 hr,  7:29 hours on 14 hr,  22:39 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
