A Day Mostly in Pennsylvania

Big Rig Steve officially done at 16:20 EDT safely parked at the receiver near Delanco, New Jersey.  Delivery appointment is 8:00 EDT tomorrow.  At the end of the broadcast, there was still a possibility of a live unload on night shift, however this did not happen.  He was parked on customer property under covered parking.  He was unloaded 6/2/24 starting at 6:45 EDT and done by 8:00 EDT.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:23 EDT at the service plaza near Plum, PA.  We are continuing our trip to New Jersey.  BRS noted that two road crew had visited last night, they “had been watching for years.”

Near Somerset, PA at 10:40 EDT, stopped at the service plaza for coffee as we had not had any yet today.  

BRS pointed out baby sheep on the right at 12:11 EDT, near Spring Run, PA.

At 12:17 EDT rolled into the first of two tunnels on I-76, rolled through the second at 12:18 EDT called Blue Mountain.  As we rolled out, BRS said “there you go, everybody survive?”

Arrival at receiver near Delanco, NJ at 16:04 EDT.

Numbers:  0 miles 0 km to receiver.  We covered 335 miles 539 km rolling through Pennsylvania and into New Jersey.

Clocks: 5:10 hours on 11 hr,  6:24 hours on 14 hr,  30 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.

  1. Excellent summary once again!! Thanks for that!! Now to address problem i have is lack of info on whats happening in the off times!! Seems like new are left hanging too long and are kept in the dark!!! Probably info is available on another format i will concede!! But as ki am an ancient==pre computer relic== i tend just to stick to BRT website !! Please forgive for complaining?? Now waiting for next==Mash-IT !!
