Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 17:56 EST (all times EST today) safely parked at Kenly 95 truck stop near Kenly, North Carolina. BRS has a surprise tour for us on a fresh stream that starts inside Kenly 95.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 15:08 near Richmond, Virginia, we had just completed the pickup of our preloaded trailer. We were heading south on I-295 as BRS advises, “we met 8 road crew,” while we were in Richmond waiting for our next trip.
We stopped at Loves at 16:20 near Skippers, VA for good fresh coffee and a quick check to verify we were legal at the Cat Scale for mass/weight. The sun was right in our eyes as we left the Loves, it was hard to see if it was clear. With the position of the camera today and the sun shining into the Blue Comet, BRS could be seen in our hood mirror navigating us back out on the road.
Back on to the big road I-95 south at 16:36, BRS lays on Blue Comet’s big horn as we had been honked at by an impatient car that thought big rigs do not take time to gain speed entering the interstate highway. BRS “We have a bigger horn than they do.”

BRS and Blue Comet continued southbound as afternoon turned in to evening darkness.
