Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 5:31 EST at Elliston, VA. We began our 12 (?) mile trip to receiver.
5:59 EST arrived at receiver in Salem, VA.
7:50 EST Delivery complete. Left receiver to return to truck stop in Elliston, VA, back through the rain soaked roads.
8:46 EST Big Rig Steve muted audio as he rested while waiting for next trip to be assigned.
9:30 EST The audio resumed, Steve was busy playing his game of collecting coins. Yep, it had been a long time since we had listened to what used to be a common occurrence on BRT. Then BRS advised that freight is really slow, the truck stop full, never seen it this way at this time of the year. He continued to answer road crew questions.
15:00 EST BRS advised that he had just completed putting 75% of items on sale for the Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, 2 Million Mile celebration. Prices expire automatically on November 26th. Make sure you get to the store to check out the deals.
