Big Rig Steve officially done for the day safely parked near Groveport, Ohio, only short distance from the receiver at 19:34 EDT. Live Unloading appointment is 4:30 EDT. Will not broadcast until after pickup of our next trip. 

Title: “Welcome back to Big Rig Travels everybody sure missed ya”.

 Big Rig Travels returned for season number four of 2023 at 8:24 CDT from Belvidere, Illinois. Blue Comet was still covered with fresh snow on the hood and the areas other than the roadway are all a white wonderland from overnight just for ATH.

 Rolling again on to the Big Road I-90 eastbound.

BRS advised that he was very productive during this time off the truck. Reviews completed and even tacked unboxing of electric bike with the help of Orangey last night. (Check BRT twitter to see) Even had opportunity to try new restaurant Big Jon’s more than dogs  in downtown Belvidere. (Tell ‘em Big Rig Steve sent ya)

Every thing was quickly thrown back in the truck, so we will sort the mess out later. 

BRS advised first stop is fuel fill up and fresh coffee at Loves ❤️ near Hampshire, IL 8:45 CDT and also that we have two trips lined up  today’s and another trip that starts tomorrow morning.

BRS advised a lot of cooking was done so next time off no cooking is needed. Freezers are full. 

Yes, Lorna is set for awhile unless she cannot get the new lock open on the freezer. 

Arrived at shipper in Alsip, IL 10:42 CDT for live load right on time. 

Broadcast resumes at 12:02 CDT loading complete with snow falling onto the BC hood while BRS completes paperwork. Only took hour for loading “Not bad at all.”

Welcome to Indiana. Next project Cat Scale for mass/weigh check. Loves ❤️ at Gary Indiana stopped 12:57 CDT “communicating communicating… aww! we are legal.” Fresh Coffee at the newly rebuilt Loves building. Road crew meet up occurs 13:02 CDT and big wave into the BC camera to the Road Crew. Yes Big M big rig squeezed by us within inches of rubbing out our BC fender. Yes game of inches. Jolly Ranchers cabinet refilled ✅

13:15 CDT Steve listed all the food that he had cooked on time off. Yes, pressure cooker and then oven roast to crispy up the edges of the pot roast, Lorna was most likely taking notes. 

I-65 to Indianapolis and on to east I-70 16:38 EST

Welcome to Ohio arch sign greeted BRT RC at 17:48 EDT near New Paris. 

Rolling through greater Dayton, OH  18:17 EDT on I-70  until rolling on I-270 in Columbus, OH 19:00 EST 

“We made real good time today “.

Numbers  444 miles 714 km covered today including pickup in Alsip, IL rolling out of Illinois across Indiana into Ohio. 2 miles 3 km to delivery. Clocks 2:19 hours on the 11 hr, 2:37 hours on the 14 hr, 59:59 hours on the 70 hr

Nope do not gain back any hours tomorrow. (Ya only our first day back) Started the day at 725’ ended at 741’ elevation.
