Good Monday morning to ya! We are sitting in a door and being unloaded. The next trip has now been posted and will start after we get done here and the trailer washed out. Looking at the radar, it looks like good clear weather heading across Interstate 70 to Colorado!
Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday in Selma, Alabama. Back in 1994 I worked on Army aircraft at the old Craig’s Field just outside of town and lived in Selma. I really liked bumming around Selma because of the history and tons of old buildings still standing. One of my favorites was an old Civil War foundry! One day when I was taking photos of the Edmund Pettis Bridge, at the foot of it, three big motor coaches pulled up in front of the Civil Rights Voting museum. I thought it must be a tour group or something but turns out Rosa Parks herself was on the bus to do a big book signing! I got to shake her hand!
