Big Rig Travels day began at 8:39 am. It was 32 degrees and mostly cloudy at the ONVO truck stop at Tobyhanna Twp, PA. We are continuing our dead head trip to the shipper near West Hazleton, PA.
Arrival at the shipper to check in at 9:20 am and backed into the dock at 9:39 am. Steve advises that he was told the loading will probably take until noon.
Retirement is then discussed and it has been moved from September up to April or May.
Starting our trip to Roanoke, VA at 1:36 pm. “A live unload, 10:00 pm or as soon as we get there, which at this rate will be right at 10:00 pm.”
Love’s stop near Jonestown, PA at 2:38 pm for fuel.
Love’s stop near Greenville, VA at 7:07 pm for coffee.
Arrival at the receiver at 8:40 pm to check in. We are 1.5 hrs early near Roanoke, VA.
Broadcast ended as we were at the 12 hour limit.
It was later learned that Steve was able to drop the trailer and hook an empty an go to a “secret hiding spot” to spend the night.
