Big Rig Travels day began at 4:35 am EDT. It is 33 degrees and dark at the Love’s near Carlisle, PA. Acquired fresh Love’s coffee. We are continuing our trip to Coatesville, PA.
Stream drops at 5:18 am near Londonderry Twp, PA. Resumes at 8:53 am. It is now 32 degrees and overcast at Valley Twp, PA. Another delivery safely completed at 8:56 am. We are starting our dead head trip to the shipper near Breinigsville, PA. 61 miles to pick up a preloaded trailer.
Stop at 9:50 am on the side of PA-100 near North Coventry Twp, PA to reset navigation.
Stop at the WaWa truck stop near Upper Masungie Twp, PA at 10:52 am to get fresh coffee and then blow out the trailer and then kill some time before picking up the load.
Broadcast ends at 11:58 am as we near the shipper to complete the drop and hook of a preloaded trailer.
Broadcast resumes at 12:36 am, complete our paperwork, and then start our trip to Tobyhanna, PA at 12:49 pm.
“Tunnel tunnel hope we don’t lose you.” Stream dropped at 1:16 pm, resumed at 1:19 pm near East Pran Twp, PA
At 1:45 pm on PA-940 Steve announces, “10 hours, our day is already 10 hours old.” We were near Kidder Twp, PA. Steve then shares that he has 20 years and 2 million miles, I think that’s enough. Not going to work until I’m 80. The early mornings and late deliveries are catching up.
Parked near the receiver at 2:21 pm to wait until we get to an hour prior to the appointment time.
At 2:57 pm, Steve advised “Broke the news to my boss, that we are retiring. Retiring has been moved up, no longer September.” Steve said he would firm things up and then let the road crew know further details tomorrow, then the broadcast ended as he headed in to the receiver.
Snowman camera later revealed, delivery was completed. Steve went to find parking.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement. Looks like Big Rig Steve is going to become RV Steve. With your RV you will be able to access some places that you couldn’t with a big rig.
