Big Rig Travels day began at 12:00 pm EST. It is 51 degrees and partly cloudy near Upper Allen Twp, PA. We are leaving the warehouse at the shipper after a three hour live loading process. We are starting our trip to the receiver near Lebanon, PA. It is a drop when we get there. Short trip today per BRS. We do have our next trip which is a live load Saturday at 12:00 pm near Allentown, PA going to the yard in Columbus, OH.
Today’s trip are backroads through the countryside of Pennsylvania.
Love’s stop near Londonderry, PA at 12:31 pm for fuel and a window wash for the Blue Comet. Now at 292 gallons to platinum.
Broadcast ends as we near the receiver at 1:29 pm near South Lebanon Twp, PA.
Resumed at 2:24 pm, as BRS is leaving the receiver. We are starting our deadhead trip to the next shipper. It is still 51 degrees but now mostly cloudy. “OK, welcome back everybody. We just dropped and swapped trailers.” “Now I’ve never been this way before. So this will be new to us, new territory.”
Big Rig Steve officially done near Upper Macungie Twp, PA at the Wawa at 3:52 pm. “Ok, welcome to Allentown, where we are going to spend the night.” Steve plays the official BRT, time to go over the numbers, we are officially done for the day.
Numbers: Down the road from the receiver.
Clocks: 3:40 hours on 11 hr, 8:25 hours on 14 hr, 3:40 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 5:26hours tomorrow morning and 12 hours the following day.
No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
