Big Rig Travels day began at 5:13 am CDT. It was 62 degrees, overcast and dark. We are leaving the yard in Memphis, TN and starting our trip to Antioch, TN.
Love’s stop in Memphis, TN at 5:25 am for coffee. Storytime as we exit on the coffee issues at this Love’s location.
“Well the rain is going to slow us down” at 6:00 am.
Weigh mass station drive through at 6:24 am near Wilkinson Corner, TN. No issues.
Arrival at the receiver near Antioch, TN at 9:27 am. Steve noted that we were on time to check in for delivery. Backed into the door at 9:43 am. Delivery completed at 11:28 am.
188 miles to next shipper near Covington, TN.
Love’s stop near Dickson, TN at 1:08 pm.
Taking backroads to the shipper. Arrival near Covington, TN at 3:40 pm. A new stream is started at 4:16 pm to avoid going over the 12 hr limit. Status changed to “on time to delivery” at 4:25 pm. We are starting our trip to Lima, OH.
Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at the Love’s near Dyersburg, TN at 5:15 pm.
Numbers: 520 miles to receiver near Lima, a live unload at 12:00 am early Monday morning. We covered 459 miles including two customers rolling within Tennessee.
Clocks: 1:29 hours on 11 hr, 1:29 hours on 14 hr, 8:32 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 5+ hours tomorrow morning.
