Big Rig Travels day began at 9:17 am EDT. It was 76 and clear at the QT near Adairsville, GA. We are continuing our trip to Union City, GA with fresh coffee.
Love’s stop near Emerson, GA for fuel at 9:57 am.
Arrival at customer at 11:17 am to check in to complete a drop/delivery and hook of a new preloaded trailer.
At 11:56 am, starting our trip to Alachua, FL for a live delivery tomorrow at noon.
Stop at the Flying J near Jackson, GA at 1:20 pm. Mass-weigh check at the CAT scale. “Calculating, calculating, processing…finally, dude we are heavy in the back. No worries.” Coffee is then acquired.
Rest stop near Lenox, GA to check the refer alarm. “Temperature is fine” 4:00 pm, back onto I-75 south.
Near Hahira, GA at 4:21 pm, “Here comes the rain, we need to put on our nighttime glasses. Ohhh, much better.”
“Welcome to Florida” at 4:53 pm near Jennings.
“Bypass, bypass, yaaa buddy” at 5:12 pm as we get a bypass for the Florida weigh station.
Drive through the agricultural station at 5:18 pm near Jasper, FL. No issues. “They always just wave us through.”
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s near Fort White, FL. Steve is able to make a spot. It was 89 degrees and mostly cloudy. Clock stopped at 5:56 pm. Stream ends at 6:05 pm.
Numbers: 37 miles to receiver. We covered 290 miles rolling out of Georgia and into Florida, including one customer.
Clocks: 3:21 hours on 11 hr, 4:51 hours on 14 hr, 15:53 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
