People park any which way they wanta.” “Wow man, blocking rule island cannot get out. He’s not even in the truck.” “Let me out! Let me out! One way in and one way out and people block it.” “We got a lot of rain, all night long.” Steve advises how row crew need to behave themselves as we go through any road check today. No making faces at anyone. “Allergy are pretty high this morning” as we follow back on to I-81. “So right now we are 385 gallons from platinum. So we are right on schedule.”
BRS at 9:23 am, “We is about to get wet” near Crockett, VA.
Nearing Wytheville, VA at 9:32 am.
Love’s stop near Greenville, VA at 11:50 am. Long lines at fuel island. “Fuel half price here or what?” Coffee was acquired BRS says “Wow, no hotdogs, no onions, no cream, no sugar. Half coffee pots are broke, so one need to talk to this Love’s. Not impressed. Ok, let’s go.”
Welcome to West Virginia near Ridgeway at 2:05 pm.
Just prior, BRS passes “Aunt J new cheeto locker. Big box on heavy haul big rig.”
“Welcome to Maryland, crossing over the Potomac River” at 2:29 pm near Williamsport.
“Alright, welcome to Pennsylvania. Fourth state of the day” at 2:41 pm.
I-81 rest area ear Penn Township, PA at 3:17 pm to take our required mandatory 30 minute break. Recording stops.
Recording resumes at 3:49 pm, “Break’s over.”
Love’s stop near Upper Bern Township, PA at 5:16 pm for fuel. Rainy and 65 degrees, “let go get our coffee.” “Fresh Brazilian Rich coffee.”
Arrival in check in at receiver at 6:47 pm near Bethlehem, PA. Another trip safely completed at 7:20 pm.
Recording ends near Union Township, PA at 8:42 pm. It is dark and rainy, 63 degrees.
It was later learned that Steve was en route to company shop to Calbit Inspection and other repairs on Wednesday.
