Fishers, IN to Nashville, TN
Big Rig Travels Saturday began at 8:00 am EST, it is 14 degrees and partly cloudy. A rare, overnight stay near a Walmart in Fishers, IN. Steve advised there is no decent parking near Indianapolis area. “Oh we ready to go?” We are continuing our trip to Rockmart, GA.
Steve points out on I-69 a big rig, hauling a subway rail car at 8:16 am. Steve advises “I’ve never been on a subway, I have eaten a Subway. I’d like to try, just once, just to say I did it.”
We exit off of I-69 at 8:28 am, and then head south onto I-65.
We stop at Love’s near Whiteland, IN at 8:41 am for coffee. BRS returns to the Blue Comet, and advises, “too chilly to be roaming around with no jacket on.”
Welcome to Kentucky as we cross the Ohio River at 10:20 am near Louisville.
We stop at the Love’s near Horse Cave, KY for coffee. Upon exiting, there was a billboard about an animal park with an image of a kangaroo. Steve discusses trading a frog for a baby kangaroo.
“All right, welcome to Tennessee” at 11:51 am near Portland.
Upon entering a Love’s near Nashville, TN to end the day, a white van was halfway in the entrance. Steve “what are you doing little van?” After getting past that mess, “ooh, there’s a spot right here.” Fuel Island view and an easy out in the morning. Recording ends at 12:29 pm.
