Daily Summary for 10/10/2024

Three states in Five minutes

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:35 am EDT near Walton KY as he was leaving shipper.  54 degrees and sunshine.  Status changed to on time to delivery, as we start our trip to receiver near Streator, Illinois.

Stopped at the TA near Florence, KY which was very close to the airport for fuel at 9:50 am.

Welcome to Indiana while crossing the Ohio River on I-275 at 10:30 am.

Welcome to Ohio at 10:33 am “three states in 5 minutes!” near North Bend, Ohio.

On I-74 Welcome back to Indiana at 10:47 am.

Weigh mass station with no bypass this time, but no issues, all is good.

At 12:36 pm we stop at Love’s near Pittsboro, IN. Steve wondered aloud if this Love’s maybe used to be a Pilot or a mom and pop truck stop before.

Welcome to Illinois around Danville at 12:53 pm and back into the central time zone as well

Big Rig Steve officially done at 2:23 pm safely parked at a Pilot near Bloomington, IL.  He reviews the day: a live load this morning which went smooth, refer is behaving just fine.  No watch party tonight. Estimate a start time of 7:30 am with a 9:00 am live unload tomorrow.

Numbers:  58 miles to receiver.  We covered 308 miles rolling through Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois including a live load.

Clocks: 5:13 hours on 11 hr,  5:25 hours on 14 hr,  33:03 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
