Daily Summary of 9/19/2024

Big Rig Steve broadcast day officially done at 3:26 pm EDT as he nears the company terminal in Columbus, Ohio.

“Backroads of Ohio”

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 10:50 am at the Pilot near Fort Wayne, IN.  It was 72 and sunny.  Steve had reported that it had been foggy earlier in the day. Continuing our trip to Delphos, Ohio.

Trailer tire repair had delayed our start time today due to our on duty clock.  The repair service did not arrive until midnight last night.

We’ve lost our next trip to San Antonio due to needing to go to Columbus for the Wisconsin DOT required repairs, along with the other delays.  

BRS advised 11:28 am, “ok…3…2…1…Welcome to Ohio, 31 miles to go.”

Stopped at the Love’s near Delphos, OH at 11:58 am.

Arrival at the receiver at 12:18 pm.  Leaving the receiver at 1:13 pm, another trip safely completed.  He headed to terminal in Columbus.

Numbers:  No numbers today.

Clocks: No clocks discussed.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
