Big Rig Steve officially done at 8:58 pm safely parked near North Lake, Illinois in paid parking ($25).  73 degrees and dark under (almost) full moon.

Illinois Day today

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:42 am at the Love’s near Sauget, IL.  74 degrees and partly cloudy and continuing our trip to Melrose Park, IL.  “Let’s go” Alarm was set for 7:00 am, but the alarm never went off due to phone issue.  “That’s alright, we’ll still make it.

Stop at Thorton’s near Lincoln, I at 11:53 am in search of Big Red Donut.

At 2:40 pm “all you at home, close your eyes, you don’t see nothing.  All in search of big red donut.”

Thorton’s at 3:02 pm donut stop near Romeoville, IL.

Arrival at receiver near Melrose Park, IL at 4:17 pm.

Delivery complete at 8:34 pm after waiting and tracking down our paperwork.

Numbers:  0 miles to receiver.  We covered 309 miles and delivery rolling in Illinois.

Clocks: 3:54 hours on 11 hr,  5:43 hours on 14 hr,  54:48 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Do have a next trip is a tomorrow afternoon (2:30 pm), live load Plymouth, WI.  Deliver Delphos, OH at 10:00 am on Wednesday, live unload.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
