Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 15:55 CST safely parked at Matthews, Missouri.
Title: “Get me out of Memphis”
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 5:31 CST at Love’s Flowood, Mississippi. Back onto I-55 north.

Stopped for coffee at Love’s at 6:08 near Canton, MS. Tried to get fuel authorization with no response, we continue on without additional fuel.

BRS advises at 6:30 CST “Thanks for all the emails and comments, no way in the world to answer all of them, so a big collective thank you.”
Fuel stop at the Pilot at 7:31 CST near Winona, MS. 15 gallons of fuel. Beautiful, sunny day on tap today. BRS advised, still no answer coming from customer support team, so he had to pay for fuel again.
Arrived at receiver near Batesville, MS at 8:52 CST.
During the offload at 9:10, BRS announces the winners of the Great State and Date Debate. The winning date was December 14 in Louisiana. There were 394 entries. Two people had the correct date, no one guessed Louisiana, so BRS changed the rules so both date winners won $50 of BRS merch. Six people had picked Texas, so each got $25 of BRS merch, since BRS was only 9 miles beyond TX when he it 2 million miles.
Another successful trip complete at 10:00 CST. We went to Love’s at Batesville, MS for fuel after finally getting authorization.

Arrived at the shipper at 11:42 CST in Memphis, TN. We waited until we could get access to complete drop and hook. Rolling at 12:53 CST after it was completed.
After leaving the shipper, and several issues trying to get through intersections and a road closure at 13:01, BRS stated, “Get me out of Memphis!” A short time later, “we are right back where we started, you gotta be kidding me.” We ended up going south in order to find a Love’s at 13:22 CST for a mass/weigh check, adjustments completed in order to be legal.

We then headed out of Memphis on I-40 at 13:46 CST. BRS pointed out the pyramid prior to crossing the Mississippi River which welcomed us into Arkansas a short time later.
We had to go into the Mass/weigh station at 13:48 CST and ended up being a drive though with no issues. Good thing we checked the weight.
Welcome to Missouri near Steele, MO at 14:57 CST.
Numbers: 175 miles 281 km to receiver. We covered 375 miles 603 km rolling out of Mississippi, in and out of Tennessee and Arkansas and into Missouri in addition to two customer stops.
