Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 18:27 safely parked at Graniteville, South Carolina. A short watch party started.
Title: Parking on I-26 and I-20
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 6:05 EST in Newberry, SC Loves. Grabbed fresh coffee and back onto I-26 east as we watched the sunrise in the distance on the way to the receiver.
Arrived at receiver at 7:24 EST near Lexington, SC and was assigned a door at 8:00. BRS said “Man, everyone in my way” as we leave the receiving dock at 9:53. “Two hours, not bad at all, actually less than two hours. No complaint about that.”
Status changed at 9:58, another trip successfully completed. 9.4 mpg, not bad.
Love’s at Lexington, SC at 10:04. Filled up all our tanks.
Near Summerville, SC on I-26, traffic was stopped at 11:53, long enough that the Blue Comet engine was stopped as we waited. BigRigSteve even did some car shopping when a parking lot was parked beside us at 12:56 EST. Finally moving again at 13:02.
Arrival at shipper near North Charleston, SC at 13:43 EST for a drop and hook, and we learned at 14:04 that the load was not quite ready. Phone call came in at 14:22 EST, paperwork is completed. At 14:45 the trailer is attached and connected, status changed to on time to delivery.

BRS has fun with Zelda as we arrive back at the Summerville truck stop for CAT scale and coffee. We were legal.
Near Gaston, SC at 16:48 EST we were 1,200 miles from our 2 million mile mark.
On I-20, at 17:20 and 17:32 we were backed up in traffic again and stopped. BRS witnessed at 17:52 two trucks that had collided that had caused the mess.
Numbers: 938 miles 1509 km to receiver. We covered 264 miles 424 km, including two customers. All rolling within South Carolina.
Clocks: 3:14 hours on 11 hr, 1:00 hours on 14 hr, 40:30 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
