Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 14:05 safely parked at BRT World Headquarters in Belvidere, Illinois. We will be on the board waiting for a trip on Monday. Belvidere Holiday Parade will be broadcast tomorrow afternoon at 5:30.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 6:09 CST (all times today are CST) near DeMotte, IN. BRS fueled up at the Love’s. At 6:25 BRS said “ready to go”. We went back onto I-65. BRS advised upcoming time off is arranged for us, the road crew, with plans to do something for us on this time off.
Welcome back to Illinois at 7:10 near Lansing, IL.
The Blue Comet was stopped in traffic near Hickory Hills, IL at 7:40. BRS advises about the 2 million mile shirts and hoodies, along with other merch, available in the BRT store.
We exit I-264 to I-55 at 8:04 near Countryside, IL. Traffic is flowing smoothly.
Arrived at receiver at 8:27 near Romeoville, IL. We were backed into dock door at 8:47. Door change at 10:00, they changed their minds, off to the other side of the building.
Off load done at 11:00. Another delivery safely completed.
Stopped at the Speedway at Bolingbrook, IL at 11:19.
Alternate route from our normal, back to BRT headquarters via some backroads. There was an “Egg” contest at 13:54, not sure who won that one.
Numbers: approximately covered 156 miles 251 km today rolling out of Indiana and into BRS home state of Illinois.
Clocks: 53:12 hours on 70 hr when we started today. Clocks will reset with BRS time off this weekend. We averaged 9.7 mpg for the month. “Not bad at all!”
