Morning to ya. Well this trip isn’t going quite as well as I’d hoped for. First, the load was supposed to be ready yesterday. It wasn’t ready until this morning. Second, we go to the nearest scale to check our weight and it is 8,000 pounds too heavy in the rear of the trailer and over gross total weight. so we have come back to the shipper to have them reload properly and to remove some product. Third, I noticed this trailer has two very bad, not even close to being legal, tires that we will have to go to the terminal to get replaced….. Not a real good start so far. I don’t think we will make delivery today like originally planned!!
Update… OK, so we brought the trailer back to the shipper early this morning. It has now been 6 hours and they have yet to even start adjusting the load. I give up. I bobtailed back to the truckstop and we will then try this again. If it’s ready, we will drag it back to the shop to have two trailer tires replaced. Man, this isn’t going great lol
